Right to Erasure — Article 17, GDPR  |  Ruse of Silence

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable privacy laws, you have the right to request the deletion of any personal data we hold about you. This page explains what data we hold, how to request deletion, and what happens after you do.

The only personal data Ruse of Silence collects is your email address, submitted voluntarily through our newsletter signup form. We do not collect names, payment details, location data, or browsing behaviour.

What Data We Hold

We do not hold any other personal data. If you have never subscribed to our mailing list, we hold no data about you.

How Deletion Works

Step 01 — Submit Request
Complete the form below with the email address you want removed.
Step 02 — Verification
We will verify your identity by sending a confirmation to the address you provide within 2 business days.
Step 03 — Deletion
Upon confirmation, your email address will be permanently deleted from our records within 30 days — in compliance with GDPR Article 17.
Step 04 — Confirmation
You will receive a final confirmation email once deletion is complete.

Third-Party Data

If you have interacted with third-party services embedded on this site (Spotify, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram), you will need to contact those services directly to request deletion of any data they may hold:
